IP Fabric unveils Version 7.0 to boost network security
IP Fabric has launched Version 7.0 of its Automated Network Assurance Platform, tailored to enhance visibility and security insights for enterprises operating complex multi-cloud networks.
The latest version provides more than 160 automated compliance checks, expanding cloud discovery and offering deeper support for SD-WAN. It aims to supply security teams with a consolidated source of information to identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and address compliance gaps proactively. Key updates include automated intent verification, shareable network snapshots, and real-time insights into BGP routes and unmanaged devices to help secure and optimise network infrastructure.
Version 7.0 promises to simplify compliance with regulations and security frameworks, thereby strengthening operational resilience across enterprise-scale cloud environments that deliver critical digital services.
Pavel Bykov, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of IP Fabric, expressed that, "The release of IP Fabric 7.0 represents another step forward in empowering all IT teams to achieve panoramic network visibility, efficiency and collaboration. With features like Multi-View Dashboards, flexible snapshot sharing and even more built-in compliance verification actions, we're enabling organisations to streamline workflows and proactively address infrastructure and security challenges like never before. This is a new standard for enabling and accelerating business outcomes directly from the IT organisation. IP Fabric 7.0 is our commitment to driving innovation that transforms the way businesses operate and succeed."
The platform introduces several features aimed at improving productivity across various teams and business functions. These include streamlined workflows that facilitate self-service, encourage cross-department collaboration, and enhance data sharing capabilities.
Automated Intent Verification Checks now exceed 160 out-of-the-box vendor database checks, allowing organisations to pre-emptively address compliance, configuration, and maintenance risks.
The introduction of Multi-View Dashboards enables the creation of custom views tailored for different roles within an organisation, from executives to network engineers, without requiring code.
Shareable Snapshots and Tables are designed to facilitate collaboration by providing simulations of the network, allowing users to analyse and correlate information across devices. Users can also export network diagrams for broader usability.
The enhanced version seeks to offer comprehensive insights into cloud and on-premises environments by expanding cloud discovery support and providing better insights into security vulnerabilities, unmanaged devices, open ports, and EOL components.
New functionalities include expanded AWS support, advanced BGP routing data for faster troubleshooting, and enhanced SD-WAN support with insights into Silverpeak and Viptela's performance. The platform also includes auto-discovery of security technology for identifying vulnerabilities and automating remediation processes.
Faster access to partial data during snapshot processing is facilitated with the Early Snapshot Insights feature, allowing users to gain insights quicker. The platform also incorporates interactive API documentation to streamline the building of complex lifecycle automation workflows by DevOps and platform engineers.
IP Fabric 7.0 is positioned as a comprehensive solution for enterprises requiring an integrated view across their complex cloud and network environments, promoting transformative business outcomes while securing their IT infrastructure.
