IP Fabric names Jonathan Korntheuer Chief Financial Officer

IP Fabric has appointed Jonathan Korntheuer as Chief Financial Officer. He joins from growth equity firm One Peak.
Korntheuer spent more than six years at One Peak, where he helped lead the firm's investment in IP Fabric and served on the company's board. In his new role, he will oversee the global finance organisation as IP Fabric expands its leadership team.
The appointment moves a board member and investor into an executive role at the company, which sells network digital twin software to enterprise customers. Businesses are increasing spending on infrastructure automation and artificial intelligence projects as IT environments grow more complex.
That trend has led suppliers of network management and visibility tools to argue that companies need a clearer picture of their infrastructure before adopting more automated systems. IP Fabric's platform is designed to discover, model and validate network and infrastructure environments across cloud, network and security systems.
Pavel Bykov, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of IP Fabric, pointed to Korntheuer's long relationship with the business.
"Having worked closely with us as an investor and board member for several years, he understands our vision, our technology and the opportunity ahead," said Bykov. "Jonathan's experience in scaling high-growth software companies will be invaluable as we continue to broaden our market presence and execute on our long-term growth strategy."
Korntheuer's move also reflects a broader pattern among software companies backed by growth investors, where board members and financial backers sometimes take operating roles as businesses tighten financial management while continuing to expand. His experience as both investor and director gives him familiarity with the company's strategy, product direction and customer base.
Leadership build-out
The finance appointment follows other recent additions to the executive team. Over the past year, IP Fabric has added Chief Technology Officer Petr Podrouzek and Vice President of Product Miguel Pinto as it builds out senior leadership across product and technology functions.
IP Fabric serves customers seeking a consolidated view of devices, configurations and dependencies across multi-vendor environments. Its software helps users identify risks, validate network conditions and reduce operational costs by giving them a current picture of infrastructure state.
The market for such tools has drawn greater attention as companies seek to automate more IT operations while limiting outages, security gaps and configuration errors. In hybrid environments spanning on-premises systems and cloud services, keeping an accurate record of infrastructure connections has become more difficult.
Korntheuer linked that complexity to demand for more reliable infrastructure data.
"The adoption of AI across enterprise IT is increasing the need for trusted infrastructure intelligence," said Korntheuer. "Organisations cannot automate what they do not fully understand. IP Fabric provides the visibility and assurance needed to confidently scale automation and AI-driven operations. Having supported the company as an investor and board member, I've seen firsthand the strength of the team, the product and the market opportunity. I look forward to supporting IP Fabric's next stage of growth."
IP Fabric counts Red Hat, Major League Baseball and Air France among its customers.
